The Fake Tracies.com
SAD NEWS
The fake tracies will be splitting up at the end of this month, its been a great time for us over the past 4 years and i'd like to that everyone who came to the gigs. We have all moved on now, more responsibilities, wives, girlfriends, houses and jobs so we feel its best to end now while we're friends rather than drift apart.
We will be playing one last gig at the Varsity on Saturday 17th May 2008 and then after this we will go our separate ways. Hopefuly you should still see some of us doing new projects any hopefully they will be able to achieve what the fake tracies have by having a great following that we have.
I'd like to thank everyone who came to the gigs, those that traveled with us to liverpool and london, those that were there at the begining in the prince of wales and the four horseshoes. A big thanks to Matt for being our tambourine mascot through the years, to mark and sheena at madhat that recorded most of our tracks in exchange for cups of tea and andy at skylab who finished off our album, all great people who helped us put together great music both on the cd and helped us with our live performances.
I'd also like to thank Sander Jurkiewicz for the great photos he took of us, for being a really cool guy through the shoots and allowing us to try stupid stuff just so we could see what it looked like.
finally i'd like to give a big thanks to Ryan Harris, as if it wasn't for his idea of forming a band then the fake tracies wouldn't have come together.
im sorry its had to come to an end, i dont think any of us really wanted to finish things just circumstances have changed for us all. I hope you can all make it to the gig at the varsity for one last big party with us.
you can still all keep in touch by using
